European bishops sidestep ‘Traditionis Custodes’, continuing traditional Latin Masses in parish churches without Vatican cispensations. Last week, the Dicastery for Divine Worship published all its decrees from 2025, including permissions for the 1962 Roman Missal in parish churches. The list shows permissions for 55 parishes in 33 dioceses. 41 of the parish-church locations in the 2025 decrees are in the United States - about 75%. France is conspicuously absent from the 2025 index despite its importance among traditional Catholics. No parish church in Paris appears among the Dicastery’s published dispensations in 2023, 2024 or 2025. Obviously, there are Masses. In the Paris parish of Saint-Eugène–Sainte-Cécile, the old Mass has been celebrated since the 1980s and remains part of the daily and Sunday schedule. Sainte-Odile also lists a Sunday Mass in the 1962 rite. Another example is London, England. No dispensation for a London parish church appears in the Dicastery’s published indexes …Mwy
Marko Rupnik’s new monumental mosaic façade was inaugurated (!) at the National Shrine of Our Lady of Aparecida in Brazil. Yesterday evening, the shrine unveiled the basilica’s 4,000-square-metre west façade. The project began in 2019 and continued after allegations of sexual and psychological abuse against Rupnik became public. The north façade was inaugurated in 2022, the south in 2024 and the east in 2025. Meanwhile, the sanctuary of Lourdes in France has already covered Rupnik’s mosaics, citing consideration for victims of abuse.
Last night in Aparecida, Brazil, the final monumental mosaic façade created by the Centro Aletti — founded by Marko Rupnik — was officially inaugurated. While Rupnik’s mosaics are being covered in Lourdes, his artistic legacy is being unveiled on a monumental scale in Brazil.
Peru tributes Leo XIV with the largest statue in the world. Standing 14 meters tall, the monument will rise in a seafront park in Callao overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The statue depicts Leo XIV with his arms open and is being built around a steel structure with a marble-like exterior finish. The privately funded monument is expected to be installed ahead of the pope’s November visit to Peru. #newsMmvrjnktky

Leo XIV appoints Archbishop: “The Church is called to disappear so that the Kingdom may grow.” Today, Pope Leo XIV appointed Father Mario León Dorado, 52 — a T-shirt guy and an adherent of the heretical Abu Dhabi program — as Coadjutor Archbishop of Rabat, Morocco. Born in Madrid, Dorado joined the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate in 1996 and was ordained a priest in 2001. He has served as Apostolic Prefect of Western Sahara since 2013. “The Church is called to disappear” In September 2022, he wrote a reflection on his almost two decades of missionary work in an extraordinarily small Catholic community. His experience is that authentic love makes it possible to welcome the other without the 'need to change him'. Dorado draws his own conclusion: “The Church is called to disappear so that the Kingdom may grow.” He explained his ecclesiology with the explicit analogy to John the Baptist's words in John 3:30, "He must increase, but I must decrease." "Blessings" for homosexual couples …Mwy
"Clear abuse of office" - Cardinal Müller criticises German bishops for their anti-AfD stance. After the Alternative for Germany (AfD) party won 44% of the vote in Saxony-Anhalt, Cardinal Gerhard Ludwig Müller accused German bishops of interfering in party politics in an interview with Kontrafunk.radio on 11 September. When asked about the [Berlin Archbishop Heiner Koch's] idea that the Church could do without Catholics who vote the 'wrong' way, Müller responded: "In my view, this is quite simply a clear abuse of office." The Church, he added, is "not a trade union". "When it comes to party-political preferences, bishops have no right to call into question the civil rights of Catholics." Müller also dismissed comparisons between the AfD and National Socialism as "far-fetched". Nazism was an ideology that was incompatible with Christianity. By contrast, the AfD has "a political programme that every individual citizen can judge for themselves". His message to Germany’s bishops: "Bishops …Mwy
Cardinal Müller has once again spoken out strongly against bishops taking sides in party politics. He said that taking a clear stance against the AfD constitutes “a clear abuse of office.”
How is it that the German Catholic bishops are ready to denounce a political party as “extremist” for promoting restrictions on immigration, while the American bishops are reluctant to denounce Democrats for their extreme stand on abortion?
Archbishop Aldo Cavalli, 79, a former Apostolic Nuncio and the Apostolic Visitor for the parish of Medjugorje, administered Confirmation to two young Irish Travellers in the Adoration Chapel in Medjugorje, reports David Murgia on IlSegnoDiGiona. According to pictures, the women wore inappropriate short white pyjamas. Murgia says the outfits reflect festive dress customary in the Irish Traveller community. He claims to have verified the circumstances through multiple sources and that the photographs are authentic.

@Boanerges Boanerges You probably have never been in Medjugorje. The chapel is very recognizable as the "adoration chapel"; no doubt at all. The photo is authentic. If not, the parish of Medjugorje would have protested on their website and the publisher of the photo's would face a trial in court. MEDJUGORJE, ABITI PROVOCANTI DURANTE LE CRESIME? … Mgr. Cavalli is a "believer" of the synodal church and according to this "church" one should adept foreign cultural elements of other groups into the liturgy.... (in spite of the instruction of Vatican II that modesty in clothing is always required in church and this requirement was - until now - always observed in Medjugorje.
Monsignor Rossetti Continues Deliverance Ministry Despite Removal as Exorcist Monsignor Stephen Rossetti, removed in June as an exorcist by Washington Cardinal Robert McElroy, is continuing his deliverance ministry. In an August 3 email to subscribers, Monsignor Rossetti said he remains a priest in good standing in his home Diocese of Syracuse, New York, and will continue his work through the St. Michael Center, which operates within the territory of the Washington archdiocese. On June 3, Cardinal McElroy removed Rossetti as an archdiocesan exorcist and ended all affiliation between the Archdiocese of Washington and Rossetti's St. Michael Center. Monsignor Rossetti argues that he retains priestly faculties in several dioceses and exorcist faculties in two others. He also says his own bishop has encouraged him to continue the ministry. The June controversy followed Rossetti's eccentric claim that UFOs "are, in fact, demons." Cardinal McElroy - who had removed him for this claim - later …Mwy
Read this garbage: Msgr Rossetti says " sexual abuse of minors by mothers could more easily be disguised as ordinary acts of cleaning, grooming or dressing children." If it is true that he said this, such a thought could only come from a rotten, corrupt mind. Our mothers -our blessed, beloved mothers- could never do such a thing! Thank you, Mom, for taking care of me since I was a baby!
Two pastors in South Korea have been fined 1 million won (about €620) each after loudly preaching on a domestic flight from Jeju to Seoul. They shouted that passengers would “go to hell” if they did not believe in Jesus, while one moved around the cabin. They continued despite instructions from the cabin crew to stop. A Seoul court found that their conduct constituted a disturbance under South Korea’s Aviation Security Act.
The court said the 64-year-old pastor stood in the aisle despite repeated attempts by crew members to stop him and shouted at passengers, “You will go to hell if you don’t believe in Jesus.”
HOLLYWOOD’S STREETS WELCOME A DIFFERENT KIND OF STAR: JESUS IN THE EUCHARIST | SG News Hollywood is famous for celebrities and its iconic Walk of Fame. But on September 9, the streets of Los Angeles witnessed a very different kind of public gathering. Around 1,000 Catholics joined Archbishop José H. Despite temperatures in the low 90s and unusually humid conditions, the faithful gathered at Blessed Sacrament Church for Eucharistic Adoration before taking their faith into the streets. Eighteen seminarians led the procession carrying candles and incense as bells rang, Catholics prayed the Rosary and Archbishop Gomez carried the Eucharistic Lord through Hollywood. The hour-long procession travelled from Sunset Boulevard past Hollywood High School before reaching Hollywood Boulevard and Highland Avenue and continuing along the famous …Mwy
