🇫🇷 A two-metre-high, blood-red sculpture of Jesus Christ holding two Uzi submachine guns is on display at L’Aérosol in Marseille. The blasphemy was made by French provocateur James Colomina. It was initially placed outside the venue before being moved indoors. Colomina claims the armed Christ is an anti-violence statement.

Mercy is the Church’s “calling card” in the world (Pope Francis).
September 14 – Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross.
Peter’s “barque”—the Church—which “sails” through time and space to reach the longed-for “harbor” of eternal life, is, at the start of the third millennium, being “tossed about to the left and to the right" by the “strong winds” of ideologies.
In this dark moment of human history—which, as some have described it, spews forth the flames of a multifaceted “apocalypse” (virological, climatic, martial, and technological)—the Church needs authentic Christians.
Christians, that is, who—by denying themselves and crucifying their “old self,” which is corrupted by deceitful passions—heed Jesus’ call to “care for” everyone, especially the poorest and creation itself, and to “heal” the wounds inflicted by evil using the greater power of His Love.

“…the devil, as much as I may find him quite likeable—and he’s certainly not as bad as people make him out to be… perhaps he adds a little spice to people’s lives…”
- Fr. Agnello Stoia, Franciscan friar and parish priest of St. Peter’s Basilica in the Vatican, speaking in this undated video.

European bishops sidestep ‘Traditionis Custodes’, continuing traditional Latin Masses in parish churches without Vatican dispensation.
Last week, the Dicastery for Divine Worship published all its decrees from 2025, including permissions for the 1962 Roman Missal in parish churches.
The list shows permissions for 55 parishes in 33 dioceses. 41 of the parish-church locations in the 2025 decrees are in the United States - about 75%.
France is conspicuously absent from the 2025 index despite its importance among Catholics.
No parish church in Paris appears among the Dicastery’s published dispensations in 2023, 2024 or 2025.
Obviously, there are Masses. In the Paris parish of Saint-Eugène–Sainte-Cécile, the old Mass has been celebrated since the 1980s and remains part of the daily and Sunday schedule. Sainte-Odile also lists a Sunday Mass in the 1962 rite.
Another example is London, England. No dispensation for a London parish church appears in the Dicastery’s published indexes for 2023,…More

‘The Complete Visions of Blessed Anne Catherine Emmerich’ ~ ‘The bitter passion of our Lord Jesus Christ’ ~ MEDITATION IX; ‘Private Instruction..’; part I
[Blessed Anne Catherine Emmerich; XVIII-XIX Century; born: 8 September 1774 Flamschen, Coesfeld, Prince-Bishopric of Münster, Holy Roman Empire/ died: 9 February 1824 (aged 49), Dülmen, Kingdom of Prussia, German Confederation; mystic, Marian visionary and stigmatist; Roman Catholic Augustinian canoness]

MEDITATION IX. ~ Private Instruction and Consecrations.
Jesus gave his Apostles some private instructions;
he told them how they were to
preserve the Blessed Sacrament in memory of him, even to the end of the world; he taught them the necessary forms for making use of and communicating it, and in what manner they were, by degrees, to teach and publish this mystery; finally he told them when they were to receive what remained of the consecrated Elements, when to give some to the Blessed Virgin, and how to consecrate, themselves, after …More

"James the Less, Andrew, James the Greater, and Bartholomew, were also consecrated. I saw likewise that on Peter’s bosom he crossed a sort of stole worn round the neck, whilst on the others he simply placed it crosswise, from the right shoulder to the left side. I do not know whether this was done at the time of the institution of the Blessed Sacrament, or only for the anointing."

Es gab keine Flugzeuge am 11. September !
Was am 11. September 2001 NICHT geschehen ist.

Bishop Strickland about Vatican 2 and Bishop Lefebvre
“GO AND REPAIR MY HOUSE, WHICH, AS YOU SEE, IS FALLING INTO RUIN”
Dear Sons and Daughters in Christ,

I know that some of you believe I have changed.
Some fear that I have crossed over to “the other side.”
Some wonder whether, after years of speaking plainly and courageously about the crisis in the Church, defending the traditional Roman liturgy, questioning what was done in the name of the Second Vatican Council, and speaking openly about Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre, I am now retreating from those convictions.
Some of you may even feel betrayed.
So before I say anything else, I want to say this plainly:
I have not moved.
The words Christ spoke to St. Francis at San Damiano – “Go and repair my house, which, as you see, is falling into ruin” – have weighed heavily upon my heart.
I have not forgotten what happened to the Church.
I have not forgotten what happened to the sacred liturgy, to Catholic catechesis, to religious life, to priestly …More

Bishop Strickland "There is a phrase Catholics have heard for more than sixty years. “Vatican II changed that.”
Why don’t we hear Latin anymore? Vatican II.
Why did the Mass change? Vatican II.
Why did Gregorian chant disappear from so many Catholic churches? Vatican II.
Why did practices surrounding Holy Communion change? Vatican II.
Why did sanctuaries change? Vatican II.
Why did so many customs Catholics had known for generations suddenly disappear?
Again and again, the answer was simply, “Vatican II.”
Those two words became an explanation for almost everything that happened in Catholic life in the years following the Council. But lately I have been wondering whether that explanation is the right one. Not because Vatican II called for no change. It certainly did. But because when we actually sit down and read the documents of the Council, something interesting begins to happen.
We discover that some things commonly attributed to Vatican II are not actually in Vatican II. Other things …More

Forgiveness Frees Your Soul From Resentment
The second reading emphasizes that we are called to live for others, not ourselves, and that forgiveness is a crucial aspect of this. Forgiveness is challenging, but it is essential for our own spiritual well-being and for aligning ourselves with Christ’s teachings. Holding onto anger and resentment only hurts us, not the person who wronged us.
Forgiveness is a crucial aspect of Christian teaching, requiring one person to forgive and two to reconcile. A process of forgiveness involves asking the Holy Spirit for guidance, acknowledging the hurt, separating the person from their actions, and renouncing negative beliefs and judgments. This process culminates in asking Jesus for forgiveness, blessing the offender, and seeking healing for oneself.

‘The Templar Rule Of Order’; ‘The Primitive Rule’; ‘The Names of the Fathers…’; pages 2
The original Latin Rule of Order was penned with the assistance of the young Cistercian Abbott, Bernard of Clairvaux. The rule is very similar to the modified Benedictine rule used by the Cistercian order. This makes perfect sense as the two orders were closely related and linked.

Peru tributes Leo XIV with the largest statue in the world. Standing 14 meters tall, the monument will rise in a seafront park in Callao overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The statue depicts Leo XIV with his arms open and is being built around a steel structure with a marble-like exterior finish. The privately funded monument is expected to be installed ahead of the pope’s November visit to Peru.
